GREEN TEA CAN MAKE YOU CLEVER! #APPARENTLY
According to the new research from the
University of Basel, green tea extract does increase brain’s effective
connectivity. This conclusion was drawn
as scientists saw significant improvements in working memory tasks after
certain individuals volunteered and consumed green tea, sparking up more findings
that green tea can help in the treatment of memory loss caused by psychiatric disorders
or an aid to recovery process.There are too many health benefits associated
with the drinking of green tea, one of which includes weight loss, however, the
neural mechanism behind the green tea consumption wasn't found out until
volunteers were given a drink with green tea extract before embarking on a
memory tasking assignment. Scientists saw increased connectivity between the
parietal and the frontal cortex of the brains (of volunteers) as they monitored
brain activity through MRI scan. WOW!!!
Nice to know of another great health benefit of green tea!!
