TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE

Timing is an important part of living. Whatever you desire, working towards or currently enjoying took and will always need the right timing to become fully yours. That dream job, dream home, dream life, etc, most times don't just come with a click of a button, there is timing for every result we get.. The life of Gisele Bündchen is a typical example. She started off her career as a model at the age of 14 and was the highest paid model. Twenty years later, she announced her retirement from the modelling world...timing was effectively used as far as her career is concerned. Now she wants to focus on her two kids and husband- family!. Not everyone who desired to go in to modelling had the opportunity Gisele had, but as a grown woman, she has realised that her prime days of modelling are over, now she can focus on grooming others and becoming a designer herself. Whatever we do, timing is of essence and it definitely waits for no one. use your time well.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Mothers are not just females, they are live bringers and givers.
I didn't just bring these words together for them to sound sweet and interesting for any one who reads it. They are true and real because these are exactly what and who mothers are. Would there be life without mothers? A lot of people may argue that, after all there are many scientifically proven and improved methods to bring life, the popular IVF and many more, well, whatever the argument is, God  made woman and equipped her enough spiritually, mentally and physically to bring forth lives.

Every woman that has gone  through the birthing process of bringing forth a life (lives) or  taking the responsibility of nurturing lives isn't just a female but an extension of God's hand because just as God is a giver of life, he has made his word "be fruitful and multiply" (bring forth lives) possible only through a channel called woman.

who is the mother figure in your life? how do you treat your mother, the mother of your kids or the mother figure in your life? Do you honour, appreciate, love, and respect her or do you spite, dishonour, disrespect and bring tears to her eyes? Every mother desires and deserves to be loved, cherished and nurtured, because as much as she devotes her  time, energy, resources and entire being taking care of others (lives) , she also needs to be taken care of adequately.

Mother's day is here again. don't let the day pass without showing love and reaffirming your love for and to your mother.  To every woman who desires to experience the joy of bringing forth a child or children of her own, I pray you receive the fruitful unction and grace to enjoy the blessings that come with child birth. To another whose mother is ill or physically incapacitated due to illness, I pray health comes to your mother to enjoy the joys of motherhood. And to any whose mother has passed away, I pray you find joy in GOD and love from other mother figures around you. and continue to see your life as a miracle made possible through your mother.

Happy Mothers' Day to all the Mothers.

EVERY LITTLE WILL GO A LONG WAY

This is a special post for my dear friend's mother who is fighting cancer and i am confident with the help of beautiful souls like YOU she can beat it! it's a real situation that requires the help of real people like YOU and I. At the time of this post we have raised £1682 and the goal is to reach £45k.if you're moved by this please go to the link below and make your kind donation.
http://www.gofundme.com/AngelaJohnson
Here are the very words of her daughter, Shannielle Blake.
The  photo above  is my mother Angela Jonson and I a couple of years ago before she had cancer.
Recenty, in October 2014 my mother was declared to be in remission from breast cancer. She had been fighting this from August 2013 and had undergone, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation in that past year. As my mom’s only child, my mom and I were filled with joy at this news and hoped that she would never have to go through anything like this again.
Nothing could prepare us for the shocking news we received last month in February 2015. One minute, my mom was continuing her normal happy and active life. The next minute – after one seizure – nothing has been the same.
On the morning of 3 February 2015 my mom had a seizure and was admitted in the local hospital - May Pen Hospital in Clarendon, Jamaica. After a few days of various scans we were told the devastating news that the cancer was back - and in the most dangerous place possible – her brain. This was obviously very shocking news. A diagnosis of Stage IV Malignant (Cancerous) Glioblastoma Brain Tumour, only three months of being told she was cancer free. I was also hit even harder when I was told that she was not fit to fly on a commercial flight . Only air ambulance could be suitable – costs £10k from Jamaica to the States, £60k from Jamaica to the UK.Life since then has never been the same for mom. She has lost the use of one side of her body. This means that she is unable to walk or feed herself. She has also lost her ability to speak. Her condition is dramatically deteriorating and she needs urgent treatment.
This journey is about so much more than money. But the reality of it cuts deep into my financial situation. It’s taken a big swallow of my pride to set up a page like this – but my mom needs my help, and without help from others, I am not able to afford the incredibly costly medical treatment and support she needs. The amount I need to raise is to cover the cost of a wheelchair, medication (over £3000 per month), radiation (one week session £10k), further chemotherapy as is necessary as well as continuous doctor fees and charges.
First of all, I hope you will pray for my mom’s healing, and for God's grace and love to continue to lift up me and my family as we continue to support her. Then, if you can help in any way, I pray that your kindness is returned to you many times, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I will continue to keep you updated with her progress.

Make a difference...Be the difference.. X

STAY FOCUSED

Every Car has a Large Windshield and a Small rear-view Mirror because when you're driving you should give more attention to what's ahead and only use what's behind as a guide when you want to make a decision.

There are way too many distractions as seen in the image above. All you can do is to FOCUS on your own journey. Hard sometimes,  but practice staying focused on your own pursuits, dreams, passions etc and see how easier and less cumbersome the journey is.

One more thing: The PAST is not as IMPORTANT as the FUTURE.

Stay Focused!

DON'T WISH IT...DO IT...BE IT...

better to start now than wish later
better to dream and take the steps than wish later
better to try and fail than wish later
better to try and win than wish later
better to forgive now than wish later
better to start now and live healthier than wish later
better to love now than wish later
better to say the truth than wish later
better to do all you have power and ability to do...than wish later.

start now. x

EVENING ENERGIZER

Don't tell your self it can't be done or you can't do it,
Many embarked on similar healthy and rewarding tasks and succeeded not because they've got
two heads, but they mastered the attitude and the lifestyle of speaking great words of wisdom in
to their lives while taking steps in the right direction to achieve their dreams.
Every morning I inspire myself with words of power and authority
I stand in front of the mirror and say beautiful words to myself after my morning prayers
These words echo in my head throughout the day, inspiring, motivating and challenging me
throughout the day to be better than I was yesterday.- that should be your focus.
You are not inspiring yourself to outdo anyone or your team, but to be the best God has called
you to be;

Stay Inspired. x

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY (IWD)

Every woman deserves to be celebrated, no matter where you live, the colour of your skin, your age, and the achievements you have made in life  (big or small): we all deserve to be celebrated.

You must not be on the front cover of a magazine to be celebrated, neither do you have to be on TV. Every woman being celebrated today includes that woman in a war zone country, that woman who has endured all manner of societal, domestic, emotional, mental and physical abuse but still finds hope to live and enjoy every second of life. That woman who is an inspirational to other women, who does not judge, but loves and respects the journeys of others. That woman who enjoys celebrating other women's achievements, successes and lives in general.

Today is a special day in the lives of all women. it is therefore a wakeup call in the midst of events, activities to mark this day, to start believing in the strengths of other women. Focus your energy in building, lending helping hand, Loving, and being a support to your fellow woman and the society at large, both young and old.

To every woman out there who is strong enough to live everyday in excitement and see life as a ministry- assignment ground, doing every thing possible to make a difference in her world, I wish you many years of beautiful life to enjoy more celebrations of this kind. Happy International Women's Day.

THE POWER OF WORDS

“Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to

use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words

of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to

hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble". Yehuda Berg

Indeed the power of words can never be overestimated. Use your words wisely.

LIFE AND CHOICES

Life presents us with different choices every day. God Himself never enforces things on us. That goes to  show the extent we exercise  control over the  life choices and decisions we make. Our unique choices reflect on the food we eat, the type of clothes we wear, how we wear them, our political views, whether to go for iphone5 or 6 or still stick to balckberry, etc...the choices we make can either impact on our lives positively or negatively. which brings me to the main focus on the post for today-choosing people wisely.

Who you let in to your life defines you and forms a great part of your circle.  This simple yet very important message for you today is to pick wisely the people you let in to your life, because your choice can either inspire you or drain you. Have a fantastic week. x

MAKE EVERY DAY A VALENTINE'S DAY

HappyValentine's Day LNB Lovers..It's another special day the entire world demonstrate love in their own different ways.. Love is beautiful and nothing works without Love.. It's as simple as saying Nothing works without God..

The same way you cannot do without God on a daily basis, so can you not do without Love as well. Love is an action word.. meaning there's always a demonstration when you love..

it's so easy to love when you decide to.. It's the world and its system that manipulate the act of loving.. Today the 14th of February isn't just for loving your spouse or partner, but a day to reflect on how we love every human being in and outside our spheres of contact. When the day is over,, will you carry on loving the world around you or will you wait around for another 14/02 to religiously celebrate love, just because every other person is doing it?

Well,,, for me I will continue to make effort and make LOVE a big part of me because it's indeed so easy and refreshing to Love.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

DEEP WORDS OF MARC MERO...

I was deeply touched by these words Marc Mero, a former WCW and  WWE Champion Professional Wrestler. a very successful  wrestler  with awesome career  career in the sports and entertainment field.Since his mum's passing, he views life from a different  and a more meaningful perspective.

Here are His exact words:

life is not all about winning the race,

life is about finishing the race and about how many people we can help finish the race

How we can start being kinder to each other, how we can stop  with the name calling and hurting other people

because in the end, it may be you that needs help

so before you say that hurtful word to the next person or ignore that person

who truly cares about you, let's not forget that life could be short and that it just might be you who needs that person some other time.

let's keep that thought in mind as we step in to another beautiful week.

TRIBUTE

I've been gathering my thoughts around Munachi Obiekwe's passing. Not that I knew him in person vice versa. But I watched him for the first time years back in across the border where he played a distinctive role which made me warm up to him so much beside his good looks and acting prowess. The fact that someone that famous in Nigeria died while tackling a serious health problem all by himself rather than seek assistance shows how wicked and biased the world we live in is. I am certain Muna didn't want to be judged or assaulted by social media, the more reason he preferred suffering in silence, also because he feared becoming a subject of all manner of gossips and unhealthy scrutiny after all he's a celebrity. Why can't people help without 'gisting' about it? Why is the world so selfish to reach out and care for others. I believe Muna's health could have been managed if he had real friends who genuinely cared. Even if those friends were not financially capable, they would have stood in the gap for him, adviced him, encouraged him raised the funds Muna needed and still be true to him without taking advantage of his status to make money through sending updates to bloggers...  social media and generally making him a subject of ridicule.  I believe there are still some good people out there, we all can't be bad now haba. Be a true friend, be a beacon of light, reach out to people not just with money but your time, encouraging words, your positive energy. And to any one suffering out there, quit suffering in silence, ask, seek, knock for help if you need it. If you don't ask you will not receive. We all need each other. No man is an island. Now that Muna is gone, he's only a memory in our minds. Will you rather live the rest of your life regretting a help not rendered when you're capable of doing it?
May  the souls of our dear ones who suffered in silence continue to rest in perfect peace.

YOUR HORIZON IS YOUR WORLD

How high do you aim?
How far do you see?
These two questions guide me when It feels like I'm almost settling for whatever It's convenient...to many people it  could be staying on the job that you no longer enjoy or find fulfilment in/from,  putting up with bad habits cause you don't want to upset the next person, staying in bad relationship may be if you leave it you fear you
won't have another or maybe  that dream seems difficult and unrealistic  to actualise, and a lot more! But did you know that whatever you choose, settle for or make your own defines you? In other words your horizon is your world?
Tell yourself "I am a star and I won't stop shinning"    go as far as your eyes and imaginative power can see and take it and own it. Stars don't settle for mediocre type of life, they know what they are after, they fight for it and make it theirs!
The question now is where, what and how is your horizon?

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hello there! Happy new year!! Happy 2015!!
How exciting is it to see another new year the Lord has made!!! I'm super excited for another opportunity to get it right and do it better, and most importantly we are still here!!! 2014 was a challenging year for me. I experienced a lot that changed my perspective towards life (for better, obviously). Now that the new year is here I am certain it will be a more interesting and victorious year for you and I. What do you see? For me I see elevation, triumphs, and notable victories. I see significant blessings loaded in each month of the year. All you need is to focus your attention/eyes on God and on the goals (which could be a decision to start living a healthier lifestyle, spiritual growth, to manage your finances a lot better, pay off your debts, career progression, have a better relationship with your spouse or even to learn how to look after your self better etc) and watch yourself enjoy good success.
On that note, I hope this year turns out to be your best year yet! Happy New year once again. X

SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK

Often times we think we have all it takes to face whatever comes our way. We think our talents, our gifts, beauty, Intellectual prowess etc brought us to where we are today. Yes it's true the gift/talent of Man makes ways for him, but have you ever asked yourself why those gifts/talents are actually making ways? Well if you didn't know, the reason behind those successful use of your gifts and talents are by the mercy and grace of God.
As the new week begins, I know we've mapped out different strategies to ensure all our plans fall in to place and yield meaningful results. It's absolutely great to plan, but trust God's mercy and grace to make those plans go even better than planned, because no matter how you try to do it yourself, you will end up worn out, stressed, disappointed and unfulfilled. God's grace and mercy set us apart to win where others have lost. Have a fantastic week. X

THE REAL VIEW

The end of a matter is better than the beginning thereof...Ecclesiastes 7:8
Starting a new task is not an easy one, neither is taking a new responsibility one. There are always forces ready to meddle with one's mind, enthusiasm and energy when a new but potentially rewarding task, event, responsibility comes up. But no matter the rage and discomfort and the countering forces internally and externally, I recharge myself with these words from the book of ecclesiastes.  There is this reassurance that the end of the difficult beginning is one to look forward to, because the most dependable book has stated it in black and white about the very rewarding end. This is my story.
What's yours? How pained and disorientated are you because of those tasks, new responsibilities,  new roles, assignments etc?  It might take a while (period of training and changes) but the end of that matter will always be better than the beginning.
Be reassured!
