Here are the very words of her daughter, Shannielle Blake.
The  photo above  is my mother Angela Jonson and I a couple of years ago before she had cancer.
Recenty, in October 2014 my mother was declared to be in remission from breast cancer. She had been fighting this from August 2013 and had undergone, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation in that past year. As my mom’s only child, my mom and I were filled with joy at this news and hoped that she would never have to go through anything like this again.
Nothing could prepare us for the shocking news we received last month in February 2015. One minute, my mom was continuing her normal happy and active life. The next minute – after one seizure – nothing has been the same.
On the morning of 3 February 2015 my mom had a seizure and was admitted in the local hospital - May Pen Hospital in Clarendon, Jamaica. After a few days of various scans we were told the devastating news that the cancer was back - and in the most dangerous place possible – her brain. This was obviously very shocking news. A diagnosis of Stage IV Malignant (Cancerous) Glioblastoma Brain Tumour, only three months of being told she was cancer free. I was also hit even harder when I was told that she was not fit to fly on a commercial flight . Only air ambulance could be suitable – costs £10k from Jamaica to the States, £60k from Jamaica to the UK.Life since then has never been the same for mom. She has lost the use of one side of her body. This means that she is unable to walk or feed herself. She has also lost her ability to speak. Her condition is dramatically deteriorating and she needs urgent treatment.
This journey is about so much more than money. But the reality of it cuts deep into my financial situation. It’s taken a big swallow of my pride to set up a page like this – but my mom needs my help, and without help from others, I am not able to afford the incredibly costly medical treatment and support she needs. The amount I need to raise is to cover the cost of a wheelchair, medication (over £3000 per month), radiation (one week session £10k), further chemotherapy as is necessary as well as continuous doctor fees and charges.
First of all, I hope you will pray for my mom’s healing, and for God's grace and love to continue to lift up me and my family as we continue to support her. Then, if you can help in any way, I pray that your kindness is returned to you many times, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I will continue to keep you updated with her progress.

Make a difference...Be the difference.. X
