Looking to trim down for summer or
you want to maintain that lovely slender figure you’ve worked hard to achieve? Here
are some slimming ingredients for your summer drinks. It feels great sipping on
something cool, sweet and refreshing in summertime. If you’re looking to trim
down for summer, be sure you add plentiful amounts of these slimming
ingredients for summer drinks to your diet. Most cocktails we drink in summer
often contain a lot of sugar, so rather than drink your way to weight gain, why
not try adding some of these ingredients to your drinks and sip your way to a
more slender and gorgeous look while enjoying some sunshine.
Stevia: Stevia is a sugar substitute and sweetener
and the beauty of it is its natural form because it comes from an herb. It tastes
600 times sweeter than sugar. It can practically be added to any choice of your
drink. This means even if you are having lemonade, sweet tea, smoothies or even
cocktails, or simply grabbing a cup of morning coffee, it is one of the best

2. Lemons:
having less than 1 gram of sugar per
fruit, lemons make beautiful/excellent ingredient to sweeten up a glass of
water, withadditional tart taste that curbs our sweet tooth as well. They can be squeezed into smoothies, veggie-juices, your tea or any of your home-made drinks this summer.
3. Limes: These excellent slimming ingredients
are also virtually sugar-free. They can be used the same way as lemons. What easier

4. Clean protein powder: one that is free of
additives and artificial sweeter is an excellent slimming ingredient which you
can add to any of your drink. It is more befitting after your workout helping

5Unsweetened Almond Milk: go for unsweetened
almond milk rather than dairy milk if you want to drop that weight or maintain

6. Non-fat Kefir: this is a high-protein
ingredient for your summer drinks and smoothies. It’s not calorie free so don’t
use more than 1 cup per recipe, and I prefer the plain varieties rather than
the sweetened options. You can use berries or stevia to sweeten yours if you
want. Its tart taste also makes it satisfying and refreshing.
7. Finally,
I love adding a bit of stevia, lemon and ginger to my drink, even if it’s just a
glass of water- actually that’s my favourite combo, which makes drinking water
(preferably warm water) very refreshing and satisfying at the same time. Also a
bit of apple cider vinegar is a good slimming ginger ale
which also lowers your blood sugar as well as prevents fat storage in the body.
