It’s been a while since I put out something new for you my lovely
readers. So I thought ok, since we are all enjoying summer, it’s a good time to
share some vital tips around looking after our skin. So whether you’re trying to
protect your skin, moisturise your skin or you just want to let your skin
breathe, here are very simple yet very rewarding tips.
1. go for lighter make up
Due to the heat we inevitably have to endure and enjoy, switching to a lighter
make up will help your skin breathe a little better. Besides that, it is also
paramount your make up has a high SPF. If you are one that loves heavy make up,
here’s the time to start practising going for lighter one, trust me your skin
will thank you later
2. SPF, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY
There are
too many products out there with SPF we can get our hands on, but it’s important to educate
yourself to ensure you use the right SPF product for your skin. And once you
find the appropriate one(s) suitable for yourself, use it (them) every day. Depending
on how frequent you are exposed to the sunlight on a regular basis, ensure you
use it (them), and use it (them) every day.
3. DON’T FORGET YOUR LIPS!
Sometimes
we tend to forget our lips, because we are preoccupied with our new skin care
routine. Don’ let that happen, use the right lip scrub and balm (cost-friendly)
with SPF. I use the Mary kay collection and they give very gorgeous feel
afterwards.
4. COCONUT OIL
Have you
tried coconut oil yet? If not this is an amazing product which I call my all-
purpose product, because it can be applied to the hair as well as serve as a
skin care moisturiser. Don’t use too much of it, just a little bit of it keeps
you moisturised all day with the rich coconut smell.
5. LOOK INTO SPRAY TANNING
You do
not want to ditch the summer glow yet, so why not go for the artificial options
that won’t cause any damage to your skin. Spray tanning can also give you the
real glow look, which can easily be washed off instead of going for the real
tanning.
6. DITCH THE powder/FOUNDATION
I personally
use just lip gloss and eye liner in summer. Wearing make up in summer (with the
whole heat) doesn't make your skin feel good. Ditch the powder especially and
allow your skin to breathe. If you’re willing to go this far, or maybe want to
start say twice a week without mak eup you will be amazed. Letting your skin
breathe is the perfect and the most cost-friendly remedy for any skin problems
you may have and for all skin type.
7. KEEP HYDRATED
This is
so simple to do yet not a lot of people do it. With the hustle and bustle of
every day, we sometimes forget to drink water as required. Why not swap tea and
coffee for water instead? Your skin
feels and looks great after a while.. Toxins are washed off from your system
and helps improve digestion.
Well
these are few tips that you can add to your favourite and working tips. I love
summer because it’s much easier to look after the skin. there is no worrying
