1. Precious Gift:
F
orgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It allows you to move on. Remember the person you're forgiving has his/her issues to deal with, so bearing this in mind helps you deal with yours and enjoy your peace. 2. Strength:
To forgive means you're in control of your spirit thoughts and emotions, irrespective of how hurt you are.
3. The Future:
There's no way you can move forward in life if you hold on to the past, and nothing is imprisoning than a past filled with negatives.
4. Annoyance:
This quote shouldn't be misunderstood. Motivation for forgiveness should stem from love, self peace and preservation. However you can also choose to forgive to annoy your 'enemies'. Apart from being the better person for choosing to forgive, it's annoying for your enemies when you're going about like nothing happened because you chose to forgive.
5.Attitude:
Forgiveness should be an attitude and a lifestyle. It makes you less prone to hurt and upset when people let you down or fail you or generally do not live up to expectation. I've come to realise that with forgiveness you'll find it easier to live with peoples' foibles and imperfections, yours inclusive.

6. Life Cycle: I need forgiveness, you need it too. Without it we will live every day in negativity, resentment and ugliness. You will end up thinking about sabotaging other peoples' goals and aspirations too. Focus on your self and the future and don't waste your energy on what doesn't matter.
7. Simply because: sometimes, who hurts you could be your best friend, your rock, your partner, that important person. Trying times I guess...hurts sometimes make us understand the value of people in our lives. We forgive them simply because we want them to be/stay in our lives. Have you been hurt before? Why not share how and where you drew your strength to forgive.
