It’s painful to write this because I am Nigerian. It breaks my heart knowing there are girls with hope, future, passion and aspirations in life who have been abducted by a group of people who have resolved to inflict only pain on their fellow human, and now all I hear and read from news is they are being forced to marry their Islamic extremist abductors. Not just that alone, but that they are being sold to Boko Haram militants for 2000 naira which is about $12 as well as being taken across borders, some to Cameroon and Chad. How true are these reports? Even though about 50 of these young girls managed to escape from the captors in the first day after abduction, it is still heart breaking knowing there are 220 still remaining according to the principal of the Chibok Girls Secondary School, Asaba Kwambura. How can some people devote their energy, time, and passion to continuously carry out evil? Just hours after a massive explosion in Abuja where about 75 people were killed, they still had the drive to carry out this mass kidnapping!!!
Honestly, if the Nigerian government is only interested in their personal affairs and not restore the security of a whole independent country, then we have a problem that will go on many generations to come. The Nigerian government doesn’t seem to have all it takes to confront and put Boko Haram in their place! They should therefore seek for international help to rescue our girls kidnapped in the northeast by the Boko Haram terrorist network two weeks ago! This is because, the longer it takes, the smaller or dimmer the chances of finding them safe and sound. I keep imagining how traumatised their family members are!
It will be a massive embarrassment to Nigerian government as well as the military if they fail to rescue our girls. With the extremists stepping up the tempo and deadlines of their attacks, there is indeed an urgent need for the government to step up and utilise all resources to counter their very calculated moves.
Calling on all the Nigerian Celebrities, public figures, and any person who believes in making a difference no matter how small to assist in their own little/big way to ensure our girls are brought back home to their families in good form. This is not a time to write stuff on social networks, or just make a video of what you think and get as much likes as possible, it is a time for action. If you are in the position to offer and provide any form of help, assistance, information, PLEASE DO!
GOD BLESS NIGERIA, GOD PROTECT OUR CHILDREN

I will continue to declare that evil shall not prevail. I strongly Believe that GOD will surely intervene. Let's keep praying. Every mother should uphold these children in their prayers.
