SOME BEAUTY QUOTES THAT SHOULD INSPIRE YOU

Every woman at different stages in life experiences some level of insecurity
In the area of how she looks. In today’s blog, I’m going to be sharing with you some quotes I love about beauty that should inspire you and make you feel better about yourself from the inside and out. Today’s society puts everyone under pressure to look externally beautiful, which influences peoples’ decisions that they forget the importance of internal beauty. As much as it is great to look good on the outside, would you rather have your  circle only surrendered by externally beautiful people or people who will be genuinely be there for you? Well you and I already know the answer, so it is absolutely myopic and senseless to think your looks are everything. Now let’s get on with the quotes:
1, COCO CHANEL: BEAUTY BEGINS THE MOMENT YOU DECIDE TO BE YOURSELF
One of the reasons I love this quote is because of the emphasis it places on personality. You should know you are incredible and amazing no matter how flawed you think you are. Pretending to be who you are not is just a pit fall journey. No matter what the society is, you have to be the person God made you to be!
2. THE PSALMIST: I PRAISE THEE BECAUSE I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE; YOUR WORKS ARE WONDERFUL I KNOW THAT FULL WELL
The psalmist is showing appreciation to GOD through praise because as far as GOD is concerned he is wonderfully and beautifully made. Now this should be the mind-set of every human. The society should not tell you otherwise. I find this portion of the bible powerfully empowering, it is my confidence beauty booster. Check it out in the bible, psalm 139:14.
3. SOPHIA LOREN: NOTHING MAKES A WOMAN MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN THE BELIEF THAT SHE IS BEAUTIFUL
Everybody’s perception of beauty is different because we all see things differently. You therefore do not need another human to tell you that you are beautiful before you can believe that about yourself and feel special. However selfish this may sound, realising your worth on your own is enough, in other words, your opinion is what counts, which also implies that the contrary opinions of others about your look are not important.
4. MARC JACOBS: I ALWAYS FIND BEAUTY IN THINGS THAT ARE ODD AND IMPERFECT; THEY ARE MUCH MORE INTERESTING
Let’s narrow this quote to our besties. Even though she is your bestie and you love her, you know you can probably list some of her flaws, but these flaws don’t make you want to hang out with her any less. She is still the one you adore because her flaws define her and make her who she is, adding to her personality too. If she starts to act any other way, she wouldn’t be the same person you became friends with.
5. MARILYN MONROE: TO ALL THE GIRLS THAT THINK YOU ARE FAT BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT A SIZE ZERO…YOU’RE THE BEAUTIFUL ONE. IT’S SOCIETY WHO IS UGLY
It’s extremely worrying to know and see many women who genuinely believe they are not pretty enough, just because they are not size zero. As far as I am concerned, I only feel sad when I see women who do not care about what they eat/lifestyle choices, ending up with unnecessary weight gain to the point of being overweight/obese, but apart from that if you have a healthy weight and not necessarily skinny as the society expects, you are beautiful just the way you are. The society is tricky, by trying to make certain frivolities very important and if you want to believe in the principles of the society, you will end up depressed and unfulfilled. You have to know this truth that most perfect pictures in stores and magazines are not always what they seem don’t forget Photoshop and other technological advancements in our disposal today. Be wise.
6. JOHN GREEN: I DON’T KNOW A PERFECT PERSON, I ONLY KNOW FLAWED PEOPLE WHO ARE PERFECT
Are you loving this quote already just as I am? Wow! This is powerful. There is no perfect person (only GOD is). Each and every one of us has flaws, but that doesn’t make us any less valuable. If it seems like you’re on your own and no one wants to identify with you, just know that you have the right to be loved, it may take a while, but the most important thing right now is for you to realise this truth.
7. AUDREY HEPBURN: FOR BEAUTIFUL EYES LOOK FOR THE GOOD IN OTHERS, FOR BEAUTIFUL LIPS SPEAK ONLY WORDS OF KINDNESS AND FOR POISE WALK WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT YOU ARE NEVER ALONE
This theme here is emphasising on personality, which remains the most important thing about a person. Do you accord the respect necessary to others? If yes, so when you look in to the mirror next time, don’t forget the things that matter a lot more than your looks. No need making it a big deal if your hair is messy or winged eyeliner coming out imperfectly. With our busy lifestyles, these things are inevitable, and a lot of people go through the same thing, and therefore understand. Spend more time improving yourself on the inside instead.
How do you feel about these quotes? Inspired already? I am very inspired! Let’s keep it that way.
